Santa Claus will be coming back to the Temple Railroad and Heritage Museum on Saturday, December 2nd for the annual Santa at the Depot celebration. He’ll arrive by train at 10:00 a.m. and will be meeting with kids all day until 4pm. Each child that visits with Santa will receive a small gift, courtesy of BNSF Railway.
While waiting to see Santa Claus, guests will enjoy music from The Schade Tree Band and the Chisholm Trail Chorus. Holiday themed activities will also be taking place in the Depot’s Grand Lobby – visitors can make reindeer puppets, paper Christmas trees, and special holiday treats.
“We look forward to welcoming Santa every year,” said Museum Director, Stephanie Long. “Waiting for his annual arrival here by train is a special moment for children of all ages.”
Santa at the Depot is a free event held from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The museum exhibits will be closed during this time and reopened at 2:00 p.m. The event is made possible by through the generous participation of BNSF Railway.
